We’re gearing up for a productive year ahead at Veber. Not least the launch of Python, our Cloud Server and Cloud Backup product set, in Q1 but also watch out for an increased level of Veber exposure (warts and all!) throughout the year as a result of some exciting marketing and advertising plans. And all this whilst the managed hosting side of the business continues to grow.

To support and maintain the momentum that Veber is experiencing we are happy to announce that Grahame Davies of Tptb Ltd will be joining us to look at the ways in which we can best navigate the competitive yet promising UK Managed Hosting market. We have an impressive data network which spans the UK and North America. It serves already as the foundation for a number of complex managed hosting solutions and now Grahame will be looking at the ways in which we can make the most of this in the current market.

Grahame has played an acknowledged role in the UK ISP industry being a pioneer of Internet access in the UK when, in 1992, he co-founded the first dial-up access provider Demon Internet. He was Group Managing Director at Easynet Group Plc, a listed pan-European Internet Service Provider, for six years and CEO of Astra Associates for three. He has also been a Director and Chairman of LINX since 1999 and served on many Internet industry boards including the IWF and Nominet PAB. He was a Director of LINX member Lumison Ltd until October 2010.

Grahame has said that he sees the potential in Veber:

“Veber is at a significant point of change in its history. The launch of the new Cloud Server and Cloud Backup services under Python have great potential and will serve as a perfect means to leverage the company to the next level. The current developments are taking place as a direct result of Veber’s identification of market needs. Add to this the fact that on the technical front Veber is very competent and innovative: you have an extremely promising combination which I am happy to support.”

The Veber team are very happy to discuss any aspect of managed web hosting and can keep you up to date on the developments for the Python Cloud Server and Cloud Backup product set. You can visit the Veber website for all our contact details or give Tim or James a call on 020 3468 7000.
